Should've known

That I'd yet again forget to write on this thing. But I'm going to get better. Promise. It's May...the wedding has come and gone. It was beautiful and amazing and special and... i don't remember a lot of it! haha It was definitely the best night of my life...so far, but I need to watch the video so I can see how it all went. Should get pictures in this week. Here's the wedding party, tho.
These are some of our best friends. The people who keep us sane! And I miss them SOOOOO much.
Lubbock has been hard on my heart, especially this week. I love love love all the things we can do, but i hate hate hate being so far from my girls. I will say tho, there is noone I could move this far away with except Joel. He's been my rock, and done everything he can to take my mind off of missing Holly and Haley and the others. Including getting ice cream nearly every day this week!! haha

11 months later...

So... i got this and then I never wrote in it again. The night joel and I went out for valentines day, he proposed. It was amazing and sweet and absolutely perfect. Xpress Tan didn't last long, i went back to medicine chest. And now...we live in Lubbock. I adore this town. I love that it has everything that a big city does, but has that small town feel to it. Joel has a GREAT job, that he enjoys and makes a difference. I start a new job monday with Pharmerica (which is Medicine Chest's competition back home haha) and i'm so excited. it's way better pay. I decided forensics wasn't for me. It is so interesting and I would love to do some parts of it, but I just can't imagine being surrounded by all the bad things people do every day. I graduated with my biology degree and now am just going to work for a little while and go to nursing school eventually.
Joel and I have met new people... a guy he works with, Seth, and his girlfriend Brooke. We went to church with them last weekend. It was okay. I'm just really glad Joel is willing to look for a new home church with me. We haven't gone anywhere since Shannon Oaks.
It seems everyone around me is having a baby. It's nuts! I wonder sometimes what it would be like to be a mom. But i don't wonder enough to want to have a baby.
anyway. i will be better about this. the wedding is coming up...so i will have more to write about.
